Camp Hannon

Camp Hannon is located in the Jocassee Gorge area of upstate South Carolina in Pickens County. The 80 acre site is a natural wonder, containing massive old-growth hardwoods, lush mountain laurel and rhododendron, babbling creeks and a 50 foot waterfall know in the area as “Pinnacle Falls”.

The property was donated for the construction of Camp Hannon by Jim Anthony, founder of The Cliffs Communities. Currently, The Scott Hannon Memorial Foundation helps between 200-300 needy children attend summer camp each year. Upon the completion of the build out of Camp Hannon, this year-round facility will minister to 10,000-12,000 children per year throughout North and South Carolina.

We invite you to be a part of this life-changing endeavor!

Our Mission

To improve self-esteem and heal the hurts of children by providing hope, love, and needed assistance. It is our desire that those children will then share with others what was shared with them.

We do this in celebration of the life of Scott Hannon.
